You don't run them in parallel or series. Each speaker connects to a channel on your amp. The specs show watts per channel into a given load. Unless I'm missing something?

No , I think vorbis 'better' or on-par may be at higher bitrates like Q7 (224k) . Q6 at the very least (190k).. I still think at moderate-high bitrate (160..210k) mpc @ Q5 / 6 has the edge over AAC 256...
